The LVN to RN Bridge program at 星空无限传媒 College prepares licensed vocational nurses to become Registered Nurses (RNs) and sit for the NCLEX-RN exam. Graduates must be licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing to practice in the state.

Through our partnership with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing (Abilene), 星空无限传媒 College ADN graduates are guaranteed admission into Texas Tech鈥檚 RN to BSN program.

Students can complete prerequisite coursework at 星空无限传媒 College, followed by two semesters of online study through Texas Tech to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Admission Overview

The LVN to RN program admits a limited number of students each year, with classes beginning in January and August.

Basic Requirements:

• Admission to 星空无限传媒 College
• LVN license (or pending NCLEX for recent 星空无限传媒 VN grads)
• TSI complete or college-ready
• Completion of prerequisite courses (may be in progress at time of application)
• Submission of all transcripts

Additional Requirements:

• Nursing program application
• HESI A-2 Admission Assessment (minimum qualifying scores required)
• Interview (may be waived for qualifying 星空无限传媒 VN graduates)
• Letter of Good Standing (if previously enrolled in another nursing program)

BIOL 2421 Microbiology (4 Hours)

BIOL 2401 Anatomy & Physiology I (4 Hours)

HPRS 2301 Pathophysiology (3 Hours)

PSYC 2301 General Psychology (3 Hours)

PSYC 2314 Lifespan Growth & Development (3 Hours)

ENGL 1301 Composition I (3 Hours)

LVN to ADN students will need 3 hours of either ARTS 1301 (Art Appreciation) or MUSI 1306 (Music Appreciation) as their Creative Arts class. If a student chooses, they may alternatively take 3 hours of any Literature class beginning with ENGL 23xx (Language, Philosophy and Culture, or Creative Arts credit). If the student plans to continue to Texas Tech to complete their BSN, they will need to complete whichever category they did not use for their ADN program. If they do not plan to continue, they may choose which category they want to use to complete the ADN program.
